On March 2-3, the Villa Walsh Academy FIRST® Robotics Competition Team 8513 Sisters 1st competed at the Mount Olive District Event. After twelve qualification matches, they ranked 6 out of 33 teams. In the playoffs, they ended up on the 4th alliance, making it to the semifinals where they set the NJ high score for this season! After all the dust settled, they walked away with the prestigious Excellence in Engineering Award and are currently the 8th highest ranked robot in the state! Go Sisters 1st! Looking forward to seeing the team’s performance on March 16-17 at the Montgomery Township District Event and also hopefully at the FIRST Mid-Atlantic Championships at Lehigh University on April 3-6.
